Kliklok provides Tetra-Top bottle sleeving solution for Valio

When Finland’s largest dairy producer Valio needed a solution to multi-pack Tetra-Top® bottles of flavoured milk, they chose Kliklok International to supply two fully automated lines.
Each Kliklok line is based on three components: A twin infeed - one to split the incoming single lane of products into 2 lanes, a collator to group the products in 4’s and 6’s, and Kliklok’s Certiwrap® C80 wraparound sleeving machine.
Each C80 was customised with full Siemens electrical package, complete with Ethernet connectivity for production monitoring and preventative maintenance.
Ackerlund & Rausing provided the cartons, featuring a special top gusset to ensure stability & retention of the grouped Tetra-bottles, plus a tear strip on the top panel.
An identical Kliklok sleeving line was ordered at almost the same time by another leading Finnish dairy company, again for Tetra-bottles, but with additional modifications to comply with their particular technical specification.
