Kliklok sponsors employee for Rugby Tour

With partial sponsorship from Kliklok, our International Sales Manager, Paul Field, embarks on the Great Britain Masters of Rugby League Australia Tour on 19th September – having been selected as Tour Captain.
A life-long enthusiast, Paul played Open Age Rugby League for 32 seasons, until retiring aged 50. He took up Masters Rugby League when it arrived in the UK last year – and not only qualified as a referee but was also on the Great Britain team in the first ever GB versus Australia Masters Test in August 2008.
First introduced in New Zealand nearly 20 years ago, Masters RL can only be played by participants aged 35 years and over, and playing rules, tackles & even the colour of shorts are all adapted to signify different age groups.
The Australia 2009 tour involves playing four festivals, including a return ‘Test’ against the Australian Masters on 26th September.
Let’s hope Paul’s Great Britain team can follow the success of the England cricket team for success against Australia!
