Kliklok supplies Trolley Loader to Australia

April 23, 2010

Kliklok International has long been a respected name in the packaging industry – and is becoming increasingly renowned within the liquid milk sector for its range of trolley loading equipment, having supplied machinery to companies like Dairy Crest, Arla and Wiseman.

These machines are designed to collate polythene milk bottles and load them automatically into shelved metal trolleys for ‘shelf ready’ display – now a familiar sight in every supermarket. Consumers get a good view of the product, the movement of high volumes of milk around the store is very easy, and shelf replenishment is fast and simple

Kliklok will soon be installing a new TL1 model trolley loader for Australian Dairy Company Murray Goulburn, at their plant in Kiewa, Victoria.

Murray Goulburn chose the TL1 model to handle 2 and 3 litre bottles, because of Kliklok’s proven expertise in this field, and willingness to develop a machine to meet the particular needs of the Australian market.  This TL1 was designed to Murray Goulburn’s strict hygiene & sanitation requirements, with additional features like quick adjustable size change, easy operator access, colour HMI screen, integrated diverter and Ethernet modem.

In Australia, the milk poly-bottles are arranged in an unusual pattern in trolleys and to meet this requirement, Kliklok was able to design a special collator to ensure the correct arrangement & format for each shelf.

To win the order, Kliklok worked in close partnership with their agent “Perform” in Australia, headed by Chris Baudinette – combining decades of experience in the packaging & dairy industry.

Kliklok are the UK’s leading supplier of trolley loading machinery, and this success has now spread to the other side of the world.
